Griffis Residential Acquires 208 Apartment Homes in Seattle, WA

Griffis Residential is pleased to announce that Griffis Premium Apartment Fund V (Fund V) has acquired The Post Apartments (rebranded Griffis Seattle Waterfront). The transaction is the seventh acquisition for Fund V.

  • Units / Year of Construction: 208 / 2013
  • Dynamic Location: Griffis Seattle Waterfront is located along the 20-acre Seattle waterfront park development. This $750m project is scheduled to complete in 2024 and will transform the Seattle waterfront, which was previously dominated by the elevated Alaskan Viaduct freeway.
  • Opportunity: Purchase a class A multifamily asset at a nearly 25% discount to estimated replacement cost. The community is a 16 story high-rise structure built of steel and concrete.
