Griffis Residential Acquires 296 Apartment Homes in Downtown Denver
Griffis Residential is pleased to announce that it acquired The Huron Apartments, a 296-unit Class-A multifamily community located in Lower Downtown Denver (LoDo). The closing was completed in less than two weeks from contract. Effective immediately, The Huron has been renamed Griffis North Union.
Constructed in 2017, the property is well located in the vibrant Union Station neighborhood rapidly being transformed into one of the most attractive urban areas in the country. Along with an expanding employment base fueled by corporate relocations and expansions, new amenities include numerous restaurant openings and a Whole Foods Market. While newly constructed, the property will benefit from value creation initiatives including modest unit upgrades, repurposing of common areas, and enhanced management initiatives.
