Griffis Residential Pet Policy

We welcome up to three (3) pets at our pet-friendly community.

Griffis Residential does not allow wild, exotic, endangered, or poisonous animals, farm animals, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, or birds to reside in apartments or in common areas. Due to safety
concerns, Bull Terriers (American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier), Rottweilers, Chows, Dobermans, Wolf Hybrids, Shar Peis or mix breeds with these bloodlines will not be allowed.

Prior to moving in or taking an animal into residency all residents must agree to satisfy the following pet deposits and pet fees. These fees are community specific and you should review
with your Community Manager and refer to your community specific Animal Agreement for details.

The pet deposit is refundable at the termination of a Resident’s occupancy, less the cost of cleaning, deodorizing, sanitizing and / or repairs. In the event the security deposit is not sufficient to cover these costs, the resident will be responsible to pay the balance above and beyond the security deposit.

Pets are required to be leashed, carried, or in a pet carrier whenever they are outside of the apartment. Pets are strictly prohibited from running loose on community grounds and common
areas. Pets are strictly prohibited from creating excessive noise and annoying neighboring residents. Windows may not be left open for pet access, nor are pets to be left on patios or
balconies unattended. Pets may not be tied to trees, carports, buildings, bicycle stations, and / or any community exterior.

Pets are not allowed to soil patios, balconies, gardens, shrubbery, plants, common areas, carpets, and / or window coverings inside or outside of the apartment. Residents agree to curb
pets in designated areas and to pick up pet waste in the apartment and on community grounds. Residents are required to accept financial responsibility for any pet related damage to the
apartment, its contents and/or to any person or persons and their property, the grounds or within the community.

Community Management requires the resident to provide veterinary certifications for the resident’s file to confirm pet weight, spaying or neutering, and required shots based on Federal,
State and County specific guidelines. These requirements are detailed in the Animal Agreement specific to your community.

Community Management requires a current pet photograph for the resident’s file for identification purposes.

The resident is responsible to retain a responsible party to care for pets whenever they leave the apartment for more than 24 hours.
